Chocolate chip cookie dough is amazing!! I love it.🤤 Unfortunately it is filled with sugar. I am trying to cut back on my sugar intake. I found a healthy chocolate chip cookie dough recipe online. I did modify the recipe a bit after making it a few times.
Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Recipe
1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1/4 cup protein powder
3 tablespoons peanut butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup chocolate chips
Add chickpeas to a food processor and process until smooth. Use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides.
Mix smooth chickpeas, protein powder, sugar, vanilla and salt.
Mix in chocolate chips until combined.
Use your hands to form cookie dough balls.
Enjoy right away or put into the fridge.
Keep any leftover dough in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
I use chocolate protein powder because I am a chocoholic. But I think vanilla protein powder would be great too! I do make these pretty often. They definitely help with sugar cravings. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
